When the current offer is closed we will set up a waiting list based on the order of receipt of applications and give first preference to those if and when more memberships become available. The Club is currently developing facilities to cater for Corporate Membership and will very shortly be in a position to offer a complete package for businesses who wish to avail of this facility. Tee-Box Sponsorship. The Club is now offering to Businesses, Companies and Individuals the opportunity to sponsor tee boxes for a three year period. All tee boxes are now available for sponsorship and we have priced them in order of prominence. The prime tee-boxes most sought after are: 1st, 10th and 18th. Sponsorship options available are (1) Annual fee or (2) an up front discounted payment for three years. As there are 36 tee box sponsorship opportunities ( 18 mens and 18 Ladies) we can accomodate all requirements. Fees for Mens and Ladies tee boxes are charged at different rates. With over 1,000 members and many visitors between Societies, green fees and Open Days passing through the course each year this is a great opportunity to display your business or advertisment 7 days a week 24 hours a day, 365 days a year . Summer Green Fee Rates 2010 Monday - Thursday €30 Early Bird Special - €20 A.M. 1st hole Par 5 The par 5 first hole has been described as "testing but fair" but a positive drive down the middle of the fairway will set you up to attack the green. The wind is predominately against you on this hole so to get on in three will be acceptable. Pin position plays a huge part in the difficulty of this hole and if it is to front be sure to leave yourself an up hill putt or else you risk putting off the green from behind the flag. A par start here sets you up nicely for the 2nd hole which is a blind dog-leg left par 4 which can be deceiving! Best of luck on your round and enjoy the experience.
